Publishing terms
Digital Product Terms
Plain-language terms for direct digital books, workbooks, and self-study materials from Cedarwick Press.
Seller and publisher. Cedarwick Press is the publishing imprint of B & D Young Enterprises, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. Questions about a publishing order may be sent to publishing@young-ent.com.
1. What you are buying
A direct digital purchase gives the purchaser access to the product and file formats described on the product page or checkout at the time of purchase. A purchase does not transfer copyright, source ownership, trademark rights, or resale rights.
2. Personal-use license
Unless a separate written license says otherwise, Flagship Edition, standalone Workbook, and Self-Study System purchases are licensed to one purchaser for that purchaser's own reading, study, reference, and ordinary internal professional use. The purchaser may keep reasonable backup copies and use the files on personal devices under the purchaser's control.
3. What is not permitted
Do not resell, sublicense, publicly post, upload to public or unrestricted shared repositories, distribute copies to a team or class, remove rights notices, or use a personal-use purchase as a substitute for a Team / Instructor or Organization license. Short quotations and other uses permitted by applicable law are not restricted by these terms.
4. Product-current information
AI products, interfaces, models, pricing, and policies change. The publication reflects the evidence and product-current review stated for its edition. Young Enterprises does not promise that every third-party product detail will remain unchanged after publication. Material corrections or updated editions may be offered separately.
5. Independent publication
This is an independent Cedarwick Press publication. Cedarwick Press is a Young Enterprises imprint. It is not published, sponsored, approved, or endorsed by OpenAI unless Young Enterprises later presents specific written evidence stating otherwise. ChatGPT and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
6. No professional advice
The publications are educational and informational materials. They do not create legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, employment, cybersecurity, or other regulated professional advice or a professional-client relationship.
7. Payment, taxes, and delivery
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another disclosed payment provider or merchant-of-record partner. Applicable transaction taxes may be calculated and collected by that provider where required. Digital access is provided only after a payment or entitlement is successfully verified. Do not share private download links or access tokens.
8. Problems, refunds, and duplicate charges
If a file is missing, corrupted, inaccessible, materially different from the purchased description, or a charge is duplicated, contact Young Enterprises promptly so the problem can be repaired, replaced, or refunded as appropriate. Additional refund rules appear in the Digital Product Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Availability and service limits
Young Enterprises will use reasonable efforts to provide purchased files and order support, but does not promise uninterrupted website, email, hosting, payment-provider, or third-party platform availability. If delivery fails, contact publishing support with the order reference so access can be restored or another appropriate remedy provided.
10. Team / Instructor licensing
Instructor, Team, Organization, participant-reproduction, facilitator, controlled-answer, and credential rights are not included in a personal-use digital purchase. Those rights require the applicable separate written license. Purchasing training rights does not by itself authorize Young Enterprises certification or credential issuance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the State of Georgia, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to a purchaser by law.
12. Changes to these terms
The terms accepted for a completed order govern that order unless a later change is required by law or expressly agreed with the purchaser. Young Enterprises may update terms for future orders.
